Women and Public Authority in Pakistan's Public Services

This website is part of an ongoing project that seeks to understand women’s experiences of working as public servants in Pakistan. It draws on an oral history archive of life history interviews with women public servants, housed at the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, to understand how these women perceive their role and how they are perceived by those around them.

Pakistan Immunization Booklet

Billu’s Vaccination Adventure

Concept by Sameen A. Mohsin Ali and Samia Waheed Altaf

Building on our prior research on immunization in Pakistan, we advocate for disseminating public health information early so that children understand the importance of preventative measures and contribute to community public health practices. To this end, we developed an illustrated, story-based educational zine to engage young people with immunization programming. The zine was approved by the Punjab government (you can email me through the Contact tab to request a copy of the official letter) and is free to access, download, and use through this link.
